Was a new o-ring not included with your pump? Heating might not be too bad for it because you're replacing it all, the o-ring will cost you much less than the hose itself.... I'm not saying go crazy with the torch but if PB's not doing much, a few seconds on the fitting should warm it and trying pretty quickly so it doesn't dissipate to the pump might be all it needs to loosen...
