Just who is making Volvo "stock replacement' parts these days? S70

Just received my endlinks from IPD. The endlinks are not the heavy duty ones but the ones that are labelled stock replacement. The stock replacement was from a company called Karlyn. I laughed when the slogan on the box was "The art of German engineering." Made in Taiwan. Called IPD and questioned Karlyn's quality. They said that I could send them back. They still maintained the Karlyn endlinks are stock replacement.

This post is not a slam on IPD; they are great people. I guess I don't know what stock replacement is. Is this the brand I would have purchased from a dealer but cleverly disguised in that classy blue box? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks
