Floppy sun visor fix 850

My driver side sun visor has lost its spring tension and won't stay up. I checked the local auto wrecking yards and so far I have not been able to come up with a replacement. But I have come up with a temporary fix until I can find a replacement. I went to our local Ace Hardware store and bought a package of industrial strength Velcro strips for $4.99. I cut a 2" long strip of both sides of the Velcro. I peeled the adhesive cover off of them and stuck one of them on the upper right had corner of the backside of the visor and the other one on the headliner in the matching position. The instructions for the Velcro said to let it set for 24 hours before using it, which I did. The Velcro now holds the visor up in place when not needed and can easily be pulled down for use.
