SOFTER STOCK SPRINGS HELP 850 1994

In my never ending quest to soften the bone-jarring ride of my 850 Turbo wagon, I am attempting to put softer springs in the car. I find out that Volvo does everything by a "chassis" number making it very hard to identify models with softer springs but the proper fit and same static height. Does anyone know of a direct match from a non-sport Volvo? I'm also interested in the matching shocks.
