Carbon buildup in engine... C70 1998

Hi folks,

Just got my car back from service today. They told me that they see a decent amount of carbon buildup in the intake (I think that's what they said) and the recommend a flush. Now, they were going to charge me $150 for that. Is this something I can do on my own like get some carbon cleanup thingie from Pepboys or something like that, like ZMax or however you spell it. They see on TV that Zmax gets rid of carbon buildup. Anyone out there have any experience with this product? Thanks in advance.

Mike H.
