Evaporator replacement? V70-XC70

Don't blame the evaporator, it is the mix of leaving it wet and dusty that corrodes the aluminum. The new models all have blower controls that circulate air to help dry the evaporator off after engine shutdown.

Do blame Volvo for putting it in such a bad position!

KSG has a very good 8 page writeup on how to replace the evap. Search on ksg and dash.
