Fair Prices ? V70-XC70 98

I am considering purchasing a used '98-2000 V70 GLT . I don't know

anything about Volvo dealers' profit margin on used cars; so I'm wondering

what is realistic and fair when making an offer on a used car ? Is there a

percentage that one can expect as a discount on a waranteed used car ?

Same question regarding a new 2001 V70 . I heard that the dealer profit

margin on these cars is less than 10% . Is there a standard discount off

the sticker price formula one can expect ? Thanks very much .
