rear defroster issues....the saga continues :( 850 1993

Hi...

I posted a message a few weeks back regarding my rear defroster in my 93 850 not working any longer. I have the type with the many fine wires within the glass, not the standard type with the dozen or so very visable lines on the inside of the window.

I have checked the switch...good, the relay...good (is there only one?), the grounds under the back seat...good, the connections at the window itself...good. What could possibly be causing this?? The fuses are all good as well and I am getting overly frustrated with this now.

I have looked closely at the grid within the window and it seems intact, although I don't see how it wouldn't be seeing as it is not exposed to the inside or outside of the car.

I have not had many replies and I really need to know where to go next before I have nowhere else to go other than a mech....which I would rather avoid at all cost.

Thanks In Advance,

Nate Brown
