Mass Air flow sensor died 850 1997

My wife's 96 850's MAF sensor died March 09 and I put my sensor from my 97 on her car so I could get her car back on the road. I got a new sensor from NAPA and it lasted a week on her car. Again my senor on her car. After I returned the sensor( long story), I ordered another one online. The new sensor went on my car. Well today the 15 month old senor died. I checked for MAF sensors from different sources ranging from $125(Autozone) to $225 with all having 1 year warranty. Does anyone have luck with one lasting more than 15 months and from from where. I can get one with a life time warranty from FCP if I pay $170 + 10%. Thanks for the help.
