A/C compressor clutch V70-XC70 2001

If the compressor clutch cycles a lot, then it is low on r134a. Or, you might want to investigate the airflow through the condenser, the fins might be very dirty and cooling hampered to the r134a is still a gas.

Flushing the radiator with a garden hose cannot hurt and gets all the bugs out, along with dust and mud.

If you suspect the clutch gap being too great when the compressor gets hot and not engaging, adding 3 spacers to the front of the clutch will help. Follow the procedure for an S60, same years. They use a thin piece of sheet metal.
