Low end power is almost non-existant 850 1995

Hello, fellas. My 1995 Volvo 850 wagon has lost power from stop. Eventually it will get up to speed and maintain it pretty good, but starting from a light or stop and EVERYBODY is annoyed with me. Weak. No power. This is NOT a turbo. Just the basic 2.4 with 188,000 miles on it. But it has done pretty well until the last few weeks. Today I put new plugs in and new Oxy sensor (only uses one) since my code read 4-3-5. I replaced the Mass Air Sensor with a new one a few months back. That helped then. Engine sounds OK. Just weak as water. I cannot find a vacuum leak but may not be looking in the right places. A/C cools nicely, but the compressor seems a little loud. For some reason I can't clear the code and it still says 4-3-5. I know how to clear the CEL but it won't clear. Also the service light stays on also. Help on that would be good, too. Again, once I get up to speed I am fine, but getting there I feel like an old lady in a beat up '78 Corolla. This ain't right. Any help would be appreciated. - John
