Just because Ford happened to own Volvo in 2002, does not mean you can treat it like a Crown Vic!

Volvos need to come to a complete stop before moving the shift lever. Rolling and slamming home the parking pawl to finish stopping the car puts more stress on the tranny than parking on a hill and only using park to keep the car from rolling.
