Remote locks but will not unlock driver side only S70 1998

Remote locks and unlocks all doors except for drivers side. It locks fine but no unlock. Am thinking it is the door lock mechanism. It appears to have lock and unlock sections which leads me to think there is an internal problem. I see no frayed wires or anything else.

Am I on the right track? Thanks,
