Getting Seafoam into intake - which vacuum hose to use? 850 1995

1995 850 GLT, 181,000 miles. No real problems but idles a tad rough. Plugs, wires, cap/rotor all relatively new. Vacuum hoses appear ok. FWIW relative to clean engine have used Mobil-1 since bought the car at 90K.

I want to use Seafoam to clean engine top end. Have not found much discussion here about this stuff but quite a bit on internet that is not Volvo-specific.

Instructions are to slowly pour 1/2 can into a vacuum intake line while engine is running, turn off and let it sit, then start engine and run until smoke clears.

Looking for suggestions on which vacuum line to use. I expect pulling some may keep the engine from running (don't know that, just guessing). Experiences/testimonials/horror stories also welcome.

Thanks,

Terry
