Remove and replace plastic trim at the front of dashboard next to windshield V70-XC70 1998

RA,

First, congratulations on getting your car to its 2nd 100K.

Now for the bad news. That is part of entire lower dash section.

Does the dash make cracking or popping noises on rough roads? Does it move around? Then, you also have broken dash mounting tabs.

There are excellent write-ups of how to repair this. Or, you could get a new dash from a pick-n-pull.

This would be a good opportunity to replace the AC evaporator if needed.

Bryan
