Remove and replace plastic trim at the front of dashboard next to windshield V70-XC70 1998

The rectangular plastic part that holds the red light and the daylight sensor is a pressure fitted part. I just glued mine together, sloppily I might add.

To replace properly, you might want to find a 'donor' from an 850 or S/V70 up thru 2000 at a pick&pull. Bring a torx driver with you and remove the upper dash. Unplug the passenger airbag and the plastic light holder and bring the light home. Just do not turn the ignition on while the air bag is disconnected.
