Aftermarket radio 850 95

I posted this several weeks ago, then went on vacation, then the 'puter broke down...so here goes again....Right now I have the stock radio/ cassette/ cd changer option unit...the wife (her car !)wants a single play unit...does not want to take up the glove box space with the changer, and we both feel that an aftermarket radio/cd will be of much higher quality than the stock unit...now, on with the question:

The stock unit is a double din...we want to use a regular single din...has anyone done this installation and does it look professional or like a cheap aftermarket....I found that Scosche (http://www.scosche.com/scosche/installation/)sells the install kit and a pocket for the blank area...but I have never seen the completed project...has anyone ??? If anyother ideas, please post...my wife really wants the project to come out nice....Thanks, Alan
