Anybody running 205/55/16 tires with lowering springs? 850 1995

Hi everyone,

I have installed a set of 205/55/16 tires onto my 16" 850 turbo wheels last week. My car has PI lowering springs and stock shocks. After driving on a road trip this past weekend, the front tires had rubbed through both of my front wheelwell lining!! The thing I don't understand is, I have been running 215/45/17 tires on 8" wheels for over a year and there was no problem. The problem is more servere on the right side, I think it is because the right front strut is getting weak. I am gonna get a set of Konis tomorrow, I hope that with the stiffer shocks and a little raised ride height, it will cure my problem.

What I want to know is, does anyone have similiar problems? Thanks.

Terence
