1998 S70 won't start

Hi Klaus,

I checked the connections at the starter motor and they are tight and there doesn't seem to be any corrosion. I sprayed the terminals on the starter/solenoid with contact cleaner.

I also found a 10mm 6-point socket on top of the tranny when I removed the air box. Bonus!

Anyway, after it was all buttoned-up the car started and has been fine. Not really sure that I found or fixed the real problem though.

My mechanic wants to install a new starter. Hmmm.

Thanks,
Bryan
