Poor post 850 1995

Sorry, but sometimes the questions do get to me.

We do not have a crystal ball, cannot see/hear the car run, have no idea of the condition of the engine bay, and are misled by vague questions.

It seems a shame to me that someone could have a T5R and not even know how to perform basic problem solving. Or, with a 'free' internet site, think he/she is being charged for the number of words in a post.

Rather than replying with 20 different possible solutions, I find it much better to read attempts at diagnosing. If the poster would have said that there are no outstanding codes in A-1, A-2, A-6 and the plugs are new, that would have narrowed things down a bit. Was it blowing smoke at speed or just at idle, or even just at start up? We don't know. Has he ever used injector cleaner or 87 octane? Does he live at sea level or 5000 feet up? When was the last time the throttle body was cleaned or air filter changed?

And the fuel pressure regulator could be pouring gasoline into the intake manifold...
