We now have a 2001 V40 in our shop waiting for the correct OEM 10 disc changer (probably Alpine) because although it's prewired (NOT all S/V 40s are btw), the DIN plug was made for the 10 disc, not the 6 disc that someone previously ordered.

Lately, Volvo accessories havent been exactly "fun" for new model cars as things need some tweaking.

If you're going aftermarket, an install place should be able to hook it up unless you want to try (may not be a good time).
