shift lever locked out 850 1996

Thank you very much. Your info was right on. When I wiggled the ignition key the lights went out and I was able to move shifter and the other items also corrected themselves. Now I need a little help finding where to buy the electrical part of the switch and instructions on how to replace. Is it a big job? I am not afraid to tackle it unless it requires special tools. Thanks again
