Emergency brake adjustment S70 1998

I have done this before, but it was 5 years ago.

IIRC, there is a star wheel.

As found, there is a slight scraping sound as I rotate the rotor (the brake caliper and bracket have been removed) I expected none.

It appears the e-brake shoes are dragging just enough to make noise.

I am putting in new rotors, so I anticipate adjustment.

Is there a procedure other than adjusting the star wheel so no scraping is heard? That is what seems most obvious.

Thanks, Don

ps Yes, yes, the squealing I had was both front and rear. The PO put semi-met pads all around, and the inner and out extreme radiuses of the rotors have rust and probably causing the horrible squeal I have. And yes, he painted the back calipers as well. "Cool".
