Steve,

his surcharge would have been (at his current mileage) $150 but on November 1st, Volvo changed their plans on VIP warranties; the prices went up a bit an there are not surcharges based on the "old" mileage breakdown. Now they have plans for new, for cars from 12000 to 24000 miles and for cars from 24001 to 36000 miles. Anything over 36000 cannot get the factory VIp warranty.
