"New' 2004 V40 S40-V40 2004

Make a trip to the dealer's service department and have them print you a copy of all service done to the car, it is free. Read it and highlight any unusual items.

When you change the oil, use synthetic. Remember, the new oil filters are the insert type and you may need a tool to get the casing off the engine - you can find the tool at your local autoparts stores. Order filters on line.

It is a Volvo, so drive it like you hate it. It will keep the engine happy and keep a smile on your face :>)
