Oil Leak from Turbo? S70 1998

I completed the head gasket repair a week ago (insert surprise here).

Amazingly there was not a single part, nut or bolt left over.

The coolant level is holding great and the temp is steady, but…

Now I am leaking oil. It is about an ounce a day into a pan under the car (or on the driveway sometimes). There was no oil leak before.

It is coming from the turbo area. I thought it may be the turbo return line, but that is totally dry.

Attached is a photo of the crud on the top of the turbo. The vacuum hose attached to the top of the turbo is pretty dry and brittle, but seems in tact.

Also is a photo of one nipple that has no hose attached. I could not find one that goes there. Did I miss something after all? I wouldn’t be surprised.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Another issue is that I failed my emissions test because the readiness monitors were no all set. I have driven about 180 miles since completing the repair. Is that not long enough?

Thanks… Dave

I do not know if the photos worked...
