Vague Steering Feel, Wanders S60

Thanks-

When we got the car from our relative, the tires HAD 36 and 38 psi in them, but due to the awful roads here in TX, they had replaced 3 wheels due to bends and cracks, and two of the wheels on the car now are "slightly" (acceptably) bent right now.

The ride w/ 36/38psi was absolutely abusive, and the steering was even lighter, and the car wandered just as badly.

My 30psi was an attempt to compromise ride and tire damage to tire wear.

I'd like to get the 17" wheel OFF the car, but until the tires wear out, I plan to keep them.

15" would be my first choice.

The car just came from a place that replaced the front struts and anything else that showed the least wear, but perhaps a different alignment shop could do something.

Yesterday, we got in the car and found under any power at ALL*, at any speed above 15mph, except when turning right, there is a slow vibration that shakes the steering wheel (and can be felt in the seat of your pants), so I suspect a CV joint bit the dust (someone else suggested a motor mount).

That takes front stage, as we cannot drive the car with the shaking it is now exhibiting.

Thanks-
Bob
* If coasting, there is NO vibration whatsoever regardless of steering direction.
