I went to the dealer yesterday and pleaded my case. He said he'd call VIP on Monday and 'discuss' it with them. BTW, the book now says that the VIP must be purchased before delivery of the car and that after that date, vehicles are 'ineligible' for the protection.

It appears now, that EVERYONE who doesn't have a VIP is unable to buy one.

Really reflects poorly on Volvo.
