850-94 transmission oil return/outlet line oil pressure 850 1994

Hi,
had just my transmission oil flushed. found a crack on outer rubber layer in outlet hose close to the metal pipe joint at trs end.
the rubber/metal joint is pressed collar anf I'm now wondering if I can cut the metal pipe and renew the rubber hose from magnefine to the trs metal pipe and how to make the joint to keep the oil pressure in the return line.
shouldn't be high pressure?
or do I need to go to dealer for a new outlet hose/pipe for $$$?
any experience in this?
