Half-Shaft Removal and Replacement S60 2001

2001 S60 T5 103k miles

I recently posted that a couple of days ago my previously smooth S60 suddenly started vibrating under slight-or-greater load when straight ahead or turning left at all speeds.

I've pretty much decided to replace both half shafts though I know one of the right CV boots is torn (it was reported by a dealer check at 100k).

I've read 850 axle replacement, but nothing on the S60.

Are there any material differences with regard to the job on my S60 vs. an 850?

It appears there is only a retaining circlip pictured on the LEFT axle (the kind that pops out when pried or when using a sliding hammer puller. Is this correct?

Anything recommended beside new axle seals?

Thanks!
Bob
