Fan motor--how difficult to change out? 850 1997

You probably need to remove the carpet and wet padding, knee bolster and glove box and see where the water's coming from. The AC drain is downstream from the evap and above the exhaust pipe. Your evap may be blocked and causing condensation to collect and back up. Do you see anything dripping from under the car after the ac is shut off?? As far as the blower motor goes you can very easily take it apart and fix it yourself. Just pry out the connector adapter and remove the one screw on the end of the housing. Grab the blower cage and pull the motor out. It's that easy. Oil the bushings and unsolder the brush wires. Slip the wires a bit in the connectors to get better brush contact and you should be good for at least another year or so. Once you get the motor out you can use a mirror and flashlight to examin the evap. You may find that its very blocked up with dust and crap.
