The coolant loss was from the MAX to MIN level in one week. From July 1, 2000 (car's mileage at 54) until Nov 11, 2000 (car's mileage at around 5350) the coolant level stayed at the MAX level. From Nov 11, 2000 to Nov 18, 2000 the coolant level fell from MAX to MIN and the "low coolant" warning msg was being displayed.

I call this a SUDDEN loss of coolant, and one I've not ever experienced before in any car I've owned. This is surely an anomaly, even if it never re-occurs.

My Volvo shop said to keep an eye on the coolant level and they will certainly check the cooling system during the next service.
