Re: Navigation Systems, Other and Volvo V70-XC70 2001

We recently priced the latest kit available for several different Volvos and it was guestimated at about $2,800 US installed (still way too high for an accessory IMHO).

I bought a Garmin eMap with a cd-rom (DLable maps from any PC) and although it's small and B&W, it does a great job and the map detail is amazing even in very isolated areas as it even shows old logging trails. The best Garmin mapping auto GPS can be bought for about $700 and it's portable too.
