Good news on oil leak - for a change... 850 1995


Just an update:

Last week I posted about what I believed was a minor oil leak. I had someone more knowledgable than I about these engines look at it and he said it actually is leaking from the tranny not from the engine. It wasn't much of a leak so I thought that might be the case. He said the 850 trannies can "weep" from there and it usually doesn't amount to anything - phew!

I can't remember the name of the leak's location but it is next to what looks like a tranny mount in the front near where the engine bolts up (is it called a bellhousing on a transaxle?). Anyone know the name by chance?
