ABS and Cruise Control 850 1994

I was just wondering if there might be a connection between ABS functioning and Cruise Control functioning.
Any one have ideas?
I have read various posts that indicate yes, but it was never noted explicitly.
From time to time, my abs light does come on and that started about the time that the cruise control stopped working.
I will be posting the codes soon, but wanted to get the ball rolling with this post.
