850 wheel bolts 850

I just got some new front tires and went for alignment and was told that
the left ball joint was toast. OK, then I had to take a 24" breaker bar with
a 2' pipe on it to get the bolts loose. ( Arrrgh, I gotta go back to the tire
guy,and tell him about the torque gizmo's for installing wheels.)
Anyway I'm waiting for the control arm to show up and decided to wire brush the wheel bolts, and they are all nasty showing that they get beatup with their contact on the mag rims. I can chuck them in a little bench lathe here and clean em up with a file, but the tilt light went off since my pal's 850 had
frozen wheel bolts too and he was using a dinky harbor freight electric
impact wrench. Is this common with the steel bolts and mag rims?
Whats going on? will a decent dressing of the wheel bolts and some never seez
take care of this issue?

Thanks, Bill
