Shift Knob Removal 850 1993

Well, I tried pulling the shift knob off and that didn't go so well. After looking around on the Internet, I found a couple of references to a removal tool and decided to make my own. I put a short section of 2x4 across the console in front of the shifter (which is in neutral per Klaus)then used a crow's foot (tie rod tool) to pry up on the shift knob from the bottom. It popped right off. I hope this helps someone out.

Regards,
