The T6 engine compartment will probably hold more heat for more time as you've noticed because of the two turbochargers which add alot more hot iron than a non-turbocharged engine would and thus they'll hold/give off more heat in comparison. I've been a Volvo dealer tech since '84, not including my own previous adventures with my first car, a '62 Volvo P1800 which I was always working on in the mid '70s until it's demise.
