You are correct, sir. Those dealers offered my warranties before 11/1. I decided to pass on them and hope for the best (knocking on wood now). My car's got 46k now. It need a bulb in the stereo, the Service light reset, and the seat belt "button" that keeps the metal clip from sliding to the floor when the belt's not in use is gone. So that's my big warranty work that I'll have done before 50k. After that, i'm on my own!!!

Thanks for the kind remarks. And cograts on your new child. As time and money permit, I'll be looking for lots of stuff for my car. I'll keep you posted. Until then, it's mainly maintenance items.
