2001-2 S60 2.5T. Should I, or shouldnt I?

I keep going back and forth with this.
In the past I purposely sought out a used volvo(240,740,940)with around 100,000 miles and was fairly sure that it would have value. I havent been disappointed.
I want to follow the same path with the s60, but there is just so much talk about maintenance issues etc.
Im seeing many 2001-2 S60s, beautiful cars with varying amounts of mileage(80,000 to 130,000). Prices ranging $7-10,000. So tempting.
I think I know what kind of experience it would be to own one of these. And I know I would love driving one. But, on the subject of maintenance, availability of parts etc, Im looking backing and forth from the S60(relatively rare) and , say, a toyota camry(seen at almost every intersection).
I think my past experience with volvo has imbued me a with a certain amount of brand loyalty, but Im wondering if now is the time to move on. But mainly I want a used car that I can pay less than $10,000 for, that will take me to around 250,000 miles, without breaking the bank.

All opinions welcome, and sought.
