Sorry but you are dead wrong... ask any new car mechanics and they will tell you this... the new compressors were meant to be on all the time... it is a dehumidifer built in.... if you remember back when you had to flush and have your air conditioner checked every summer and sometimes recharged... well this is why you no longer have to do that... if you don't believe me, check with your local Volvo dealer (or any new car dealer).
