Hello, The radiator's fan on my 1999 would continue running on occasion. Just like the A/C-blower fan in my 2002 (to air dry the evaperator). I've never been able to establish a pattern. Do a search of fans running on and you'll find posts like yours and mine. TRANSLATION: How long these fans run-on and what conditions trigger them isn't exactly known. If life goes on and your battery doesn't die; I guess it's within spec.
"Is it a nice feature...?", you ask. I don't know. I don't even know if the outboard thermometers these cars have provide input to this system. TRANSLATION: If one of the thermometers breaks or gets torn off my car (I've heard they're in the side mirrors) will I get wierd communications errors all over the place or will the run-on feature simply be side-stepped. Way too much "computer control" in today's cars. Kira
