A couple of questions 850 1994

I have a couple of questions that I was hoping someone here could shed a little light on. I have a 94 850 Turbo and when the weather gets cold the turbo whistles really loudly right after it's started and while I'm driving right before the boost gauge goes into the white section. Other than those two specific times the turbo sounds like it did when the car was new (light whine). My question is: Is there anything wrong or is this normal? I like to fix things before they become a major problem.

Also I am still trying to pinpoint a rubbing sound that is coming from the right front passenger side of the car. It only happens when I drive over an uneven road surface. I already took the car to the dealer and they said everything was "tight" in terms of the suspension. The dealer said that something within the engine compartment was probably just rubbing. I don’t really believe this diagnosis, because the sound is definitely coming from the area around the suspension, what else is up there that could rub? Someone suggested that it was the sway bar end link. I still think this is probably the problem, but I wanted to see if any one knew of what else it could be before I attempt to remove the end link. Any suggestions?

Thanks again for all of the information.

Scott
