Broken Trunk and Gas Door Release C70 1999

Neither my trunk or gas door release mechanism's are working. I know that the gas door may be manually opened by going through the light housing in the trunk, but I am not sure about the trunk release. The keyless entry into the trunk works. I am concerned that the problem may be in the door.

Any suggestions and/or reccomendations.
