leaking roofrack V70-XC70 all

I purchased an aftermarket roofrack for my 850 wagon. It's actually an official Volvo accesory but made by Thule. I wanted to go for the "Euro Rails", but they're about $400, and that's without crossmember. For another $200 you can get the crossmembers, otherwise the rails are useless. The Thule rack was only $125. Functionally it is great. However, the way it mounts interferes with the door seals in 4 spots. When it rails, in comes the water. Has anyone else used this rack? Have you experienced this problem? Is there a good fix aside from gooing it up with Silicone? Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Ben
