leaky rad 850

have some trouble with the rad in my 94 850 wagon (2.3L 5L)- it looks like the previous owner neglected to properly fix the frame mount on the drivers side after the plastic cracked and failed, after all the resultant shifting there is now a slow leak that appears to have developed within the body of rad and not in the plastic wells - before i attempted to remove the ridiculous amount of plastic shrouding around and above the rad to replace it i was thinking of using a leak stop product, possibly saving myself a lot of work - has anybody had any luck (good or bad) with these types of products as they relate to the 2.3L 5cyc turbo motors? thanks for reading
