Re: How to hardwire a radar detector and other cool things V70-XC70 2001

Neat ideas. Couple of other ideas...

- A come-along or hi-lift jack. Your winch strap will be useless unless you have a method to use it with. Either of these items can be used to extract your vehicle by hand.

- Wiper blades. Nothing worse than being stuck in an ice storm or heavy rain have have the blade go out.

- Extra lightbulbs and fuses.

- One of those portable power packs so you have give yourself a jump start.

- Common tools, ie torx and various common sockets & wrenches.

- Water.

- Wire.

- Various automotive fluids.

- Loctite Red.

- Fix-A-Flat, which will seal and/or pump up your tire.

- Small 12v compressor.

- Radiator Seal.

- Repair manual of some sort, even if just generic auto repair or 850 series, it's better than nothing.

- Phone contact list and change/calling card.
