Rear Pad (mount) S80 2001

I was reading how to remove a S80 transmission when I saw a picture of one of the steps. It was how to remove this rear engine pad. You need a 14mm 1/4 socket and a 6" extension. My sets don't have a 14mm so I had to buy one. See if your sets have this before starting. Still a challenge but the only way to do it. Once the bolt is out and you raise the engine and the pad is now loose, the next challenge is to get it out! A few twists, rotations, bending exhaust pipes and hoses and then it comes out on the right side of the engine bay. Same pattern to get the new one back in. Be sure to remove the bolts from the front pad, and your transmission mount as well before lifting your engine.
