Unless the battery thing checks out (it shouldn't have fried everything..) as dead (or several fuses/wires/relays, check them all out). I'd run as fast as I could from the car.. Changing the computers is a pricey endeavor and even then you might find out a more's wrong with the car. There's also the chance that the PO pulled the computers for a different car and gave you ones that were fried (or just none..)
