How to turn off daytime headlights?

As far as I know, that is not possible in USA models. I am not sure if a different headlight switch would leave the lights off. Buy one the next time you are in Europe. One option (at least on the S70/V70) is to turn the switch to position 2. The headlights will be off but parking lights on.
